UTTLESFORD DISTRICT ELECTION MAY 2023

SEP encourages local residents to interrogate candidates and establish their position on Easton Park

UTTLESFORD DISTRICT ELECTIONS
THURSDAY 4th MAY 2023

NO MATTER HOW YOU’VE VOTED IN THE PAST LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE ABOUT LOCAL ISSUES!

YOUR VOTE IS IMPORTANT!
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

As we approach the Local Elections, you will no doubt be receiving many leaflets from various political parties encouraging you to vote for their candidates.

A councillor’s primary role is to represent their ward and the people who live in it. Stop Easton Park (SEP) is non-political but believes that the biggest local issue we have faced in generations is:

A 10,000 HOUSES NEW TOWN AT EASTON PARK

A new town of 10,000 houses will totally subsume Great Dunmow - currently a third of the size of the potential new town. It will also be, by far, the largest town in Uttlesford, nearly twice the size of Saffron Walden - the administrative centre of the district.

It has never been more important that we use our council vote to get the local representation we want and need. SEP encourages local residents to interrogate candidates and establish their position on Easton Park. Remember - a vague promise to limit development will result in that promise being easily forgotten in the future.

Who are the candidates that you can trust to keep Easton Park as open space for OUR welfare? Surely, they are the same people who have, over the years, consistently argued and voted for keeping Easton Park free of development.

IT IS A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD THAT THE PARISH COUNCIL & MEETING CHAIRS OF LITTLE EASTON, GREAT EASTON, THAXTED AND LINDSELL BACK MARTIN FOLEY AND RICHARD HAYNES IN THE ON-GOING BATTLE TO…

SAVE EASTON PARK

IF YOU VALUE THE ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS OF EASTON PARK EXPRESS THAT VALUE AT THE BALLOT BOX!
